Former PhD student in the group Airborne Measurements and UTLS Transport Processes, headed by Univ.-Prof. Dr. Peter Hoor.
Research Interests
My PhD thesis is focused on single particle mass spectrometer data that I collected in the Canadian High Arctic lower troposphere. I study processes controlling the summertime Arctic aerosol composition, including regional marine-biogenic and remote anthropogenic influences. I also use data from aircraft measurements in the Baltic Sea region to learn about the influence of ship traffic on the marine boundary layer aerosol composition.
PhD thesis: Aerosol in the summertime Arctic lower troposphere: composition, sources, formation processes, and transport
Research tools
Airborne measurement data (NETCARE 2014, BALTIC 2015, ACLOUD 2017), lagrangian analysis tools (FLEXPART)
